      Is “Activist” a positive label?

The term suggests activity, energy, caring, contributing, being part of the solution to problems.   Don’t hang back waiting for someone else.

“What can I do?" You ask.

Here’s a few suggestions to enlarge your own list of things to do:

Know the Precinct you live and vote in.
Get acquainted with Republicans in your precinct, school, neighborhood, church, club, work place, etc.
Help Independents, young voters, and even Democrats register Republican.
Discuss issues and problems needing attention. Don’t argue and offend, but enlighten.
Start a GOP study group or social activity in your locale.
Support or assist in the organizing of a Young Republican Club in a College or High School setting.
Introduce yourself to elected officials and/or candidates at the local, state, or national level. Offer to serve or campaign.
Read and discuss the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution with your children, grandchildren, etc.
Develop your own list and add to this list by submitting suggestions to NRMC Newsletter.
