President's Message

With crumbling institutions, a disaffected voter population, and a lost sense of direction, our country more than ever requires leadership. Personally, I am seeking out the candidate who thinks like our Founding Fathers did. I am very concerned about the field of democrats and their lack of experience in managing an effective government.

I do not want the same old premise of obfuscating, ineffective and myopic policy making. I want a vastly limited government, no new taxes in any form, and I want the incessant whining of the politically incorrect liberals to end with their education.

Gee, talking about a product of a failed educational system…get it? Remember the three issues of the election: Education, Defense, and the Economy. Seek out and help the candidate that you feel addresses these points and understand how all other issues fit within their respective definitions.

So what does Nevada require, what do we need from our elected representatives? We require leadership: from Carson City, to our streets, and in Washington. I want leaders who know the history of this country and understand the constitution and what it means for and to every American. I want those leaders who see beyond the bull of partisan politics and are actually able to accomplish something. Other-wise, step aside and allow those who are willing to fight for this country, to lead.

For example, stop the selective adaptation of the constitution and solve this immigration problem, yesterday. The left and the right will always exist, but I must tell you, there is only one right!

As a country, are out of balance. The equilibrium of freedom has been abrogated and assaulted by our enemies. When will congress stand up, come together, bridge the gaps of ideological differences and do something…get that approval rating up boys and girls, and stop wasting tax payer money on meandering entitlements and pork. Let the states manage them-selves, protect us as the constitution empowers you to do, and let us be…let us flourish as Americans and we will succeed. You are allowing us to wallow in ignorance (failed educational systems), exist in credit hell (mortgage crisis), and be threatened by every other country with a desire to undo our freedoms (CIA/FBI hand tying)…let us be free! Americans should demand service of their leaders, they should demand that their elected representatives be smart, be consensus builders, and accomplish something. of meaning.

Please, correct me if I am wrong.

Another example, yesterday, I heard of a homeless camp in one of the Vegas washes comprised of children! Unbelievable.

Pre-teens and teenagers. From a discussion with a parent: the following description took place. “….what is even more unbelievable is the fact the police department would “rather not be involved.”
They know that they are able to pick the children up, return them home, and guess what? They run away again as soon as they pull out of the driveway…”

…these children exist in an underground society where they feed each other, share clothing and teach each other “the ropes”. The older kids have experience with dealing with the law and know exactly what they can get away in doing. They have an attitude of being untouchable. A child was caught stealing food at the local Circle K. Charges will not be pressed because it involves too much paperwork for the store…

…the crimes have to be more horrendous to be sent off to Juvenile Hall. Once there, they are offered nothing more than a basic “holding tank” situation. They are with kids who have done “real” crimes so they learn that lifestyle as well…

…there are no consequences for these children who are practicing being homeless at the age of 13. There are no resources for the parents who cannot afford the very steep tuition of a place they could live full time, go to school, church and be turned around. Parents may not even discipline their children. Yes, we may ground them, take things away and use hollow threats. The worst thing besides the kids knowing this, they feel justified in throwing it in our faces…

This conversation is paraphrased but used here in this newsletter by me to make a statement, that is, “The great social experiment of the 60’s and 70’s and all of its failings is over. Finally.” These children will inherit the flag of our country. These children will occupy the jobs that we so desperately need filled in this country. These children will carry on the mantle of democracy. There is a cadre of parents (powerless) raised upon liberal ideals, well guess what, it does not work. The passions we feel as human beings are no longer subdued. Liberalism equates with unbridled and purpose-less passion. What can we do to better ensure our democratic institutions, to better promulgate right thinking? Start a math and science camp…feed the children.

I do not celebrate a 62% graduation rate, I do not celebrate low SAT scores, I do not celebrate in the suffering of a fellow human being at any age…either fetus, child, teenager, adult or elderly. It is time to listen to our President’s initiative regarding his educational platform. I challenge each one of our members who is retired to teach…Clark County needs great Americans, and Republicans in their school district.
Let’s do it.
